In the heart of Aker Brygge’s bustling, vibrant atmosphere, people step on CIOL^® as they make their way to attractions, restaurants, business meetings, or the ferry to Nesodden. Our living lab is located right next to the ferry quay, where the terrace boards were installed in September 2023. One unique challenge in this area is the lack of airflow beneath the boards, leading to direct exposure to mud. This makes it an ideal test site to assess CIOL^®’s resistance to such conditions. Preliminary tests after 16 months show promising results.
